RCB stampede chargesheet only after HC nod

Karnataka HC directed state government Tuesday not to file a final report or chargesheet in the June 4 stadium stampede case without its permission.

Justice SR Krishna Kumar ’s directive came on pleas by Royal Challengers Sports Private Ltd (RCSPL)— and event management firm DNA Entertainment Networks Ltd . RCSPL’s counsel had reaffirmed co-operation with the probe. However, govt’s advocate said the investigation would take at least a month to culminate.
