When Elon Musk followed Tiffany Fong on Twitter

Tiffany Fong, a cryptocurrency influencer and self-described "reluctant crypto journalist” rose to fame in 2024 when Tesla CEO and owner of X (previously Twitter) started following her on the platform. This resulted in a rapid rise in Fong’s followers and earnings who by November 2024 had reportedly earned $21,000 on Twitter alone. According to a Wall Street Journal report, around this time, Musk – who has already started messaging her, asked if she was interested in having his child. Fong denied the proposal because “she pictured having children in a more traditional nuclear family”.

Responding to the WSJ report, Fong recently shared a post stating that she will not be addressing the topic publicly. She wrote in the post: “For the record, I did not feed this story to WSJ (or any other outlet) and explicitly asked NOT to be included when I was contacted for comment. If you’re waiting for me to comment publicly, it’s not going to happen. THANKS!”
