OnePlus has unveiled its new Gaming technology — a system designed to improve performance, stability, and control in mobile gaming . OnePlus Gaming Technology will debut in the upcoming OnePlus 15 Series smartphones. The company said the technology combines chip-level optimization , dedicated hardware, and software tools to enhance the gaming experience on its upcoming devices.

"True gaming fun starts with flawlessly smooth gameplay, and that requires truly overpowered hardware," said Marcel Campos, Director of Product Strategy, OnePlus India. "We're delivering OverPower specs that eliminate stutters and lag. We handle the overwhelming performance, our users enjoy the uninterrupted joy of play."

Chip-level system for smoother performance

At the core of the new system is the OP Gaming Core, a self-developed chip-level technology that includes more than 20,000 lines of original code and 254 patents. The technology introduces the OnePlus CPU Scheduler, which manages gaming workloads more efficiently. The company claims this reduces CPU instructions by up to 22.74%, cutting both power use and processor load during gameplay.

The Gaming Core also features Next-Gen HyperRendering, which improves GPU rendering efficiency by 80%. By rebuilding the rendering process at the chip level, it aims to maintain high visual quality and stable frame rates, including a consistent 120fps performance in popular games.

Three-chip system for better control and connectivity

OnePlus also introduced the OP Performance Tri-Chip setup, which includes a Performance Chip, a Touch Response Chip, and a Wi-Fi Chip G2. Together, they enhance processing power, touch response, and wireless connectivity. The Touch Response Chip supports up to a 330Hz sampling rate, while the Wi-Fi Chip G2 uses SmartLink technology to maintain stable connections even in weak signal areas.

High-frame-rate gaming ecosystem

The company also announced OP FPS Max, a high-frame-rate gaming system featuring 165Hz display support and chip-level optimization for smoother gameplay. OnePlus said the technology already supports multiple popular titles and will expand through new partnerships.
