Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and fiancee Lauren Sánchez are set to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy later this year. The couple, engaged in May 2023, has been planning for two years, in what is now being termed as the most talked-about weddings of the year 2025. The two recently made headlines when Sánchez - former news anchor - flew to space in an all-women Blue Origin crew along with Katy Perry and four others. While the couple has been hush-hush about the wedding, reports are circulating about the alleged venue, guest list and more details. While the exact date of the wedding is not out yet, rumours are that the couple will tie knot sometime in June this year.


Sánchez's brother Paul told TMZ: "We don't have any details yet, like exactly where it's gonna be or anything like that”.


“I'm thrilled beyond belief,” he added.

Earlier rumours said that the duo are planning a $600million winter wedding in Aspen, Colo. However, Bezos denied the reports then.


Now, reports are that the tech billionaire may get married in Venice, Italy, though exact venue is not known yet. According to People.com, Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro has confirmed that the couple will host their nuptials in the historic Italian city. “We are mutually working and supporting the organizers, to ensure that the event will be absolutely respectful of the fragility and uniqueness of the city,” he said in a statement. Brugnaro added that only 200 guests will be invited and that the event wouldn’t disrupt the city.


Further, it is rumoured that the wedding would be held on Bezos' $500 million yacht named Koru.

A People report in March confirmed that the couple has sent out invitations to their guests. A source has confirmed names in the guest list of Jeff Bezos–Lauren Sánchez wedding. These include Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, among others.
