Epic Games is rolling out a major update for Fortnite, introducing the Slurp Rush map , a Star Wars-themed season, and exciting new gameplay mechanics. The latest patch, v34.30, is set to transform the game with fresh content, including new weapons, locations, and character skins.
Slurp rush map arrives in Fortnite reloadThe Slurp Rush map is the newest addition to Fortnite’s Reload mode, featuring Chapter 2-inspired locations such as Steamy Stacks, Dirty Docks, and Slurpy Swamp. The map is packed with Slurp-infused terrain, allowing players to heal passively while navigating the battlefield. Vehicles are also making their way into Reload, adding faster mobility and strategic depth to the mode.
Star Wars takes over chapter 6 season 3Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 3 is fully dedicated to Star Wars, marking one of the most immersive crossovers in the game’s history. The season will introduce themed Points of Interest (POIs), three bosses, and six friendly NPCs, with characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and C-3PO expected to appear. Players can wield Lightsabers, Blasters, and potentially new Force abilities, including Force Lightning and Death Star orbital strikes.
New weapons and ranked resetThe update also brings a rank reset for Reload mode, requiring players to complete a match to reveal their new rank. Additionally, the loot pool has been refreshed, with weapons like the Infantry Rifle, Hammer Assault Rifle, and Dragon’s Breath Shotgun making a return.
