During a recent press conference, OKC Thunder ’s head coach Mark Daigneault praised the terrific performance of the Indiana Pacers .

While discussing the Indiana Pacers, Daigneault went on to praise the NBA team and even mentioned having great respect for the team. He said,

“First of all, congrats to Indiana for making the finals. A lot of respect for their team. How they've done it and the run that they're on right now, so obviously a tall task for us today, we practiced; it was our first full team practice in a couple of days. A lot of that was just a focus on us, our fundamentals, the things that are going to be important.”

He further mentioned

“You know, every game independent of opponent, we did some thematic things with Indiana today, but it's a little too early, I think, to start getting, like, really deep into them. We'll do that as we get closer to the game. Right now we're just trying to get ourselves.”


Mark Daigneault began his NBA head coaching journey in 2019, making the leap from the Thunder’s G League affiliate as the youngest head coach in the league. In just five years, he’s helped reshape the identity of the Thunder, thanks to his full commitment to the vision and challenges ahead.
