Denver Nuggets ’ Jamal Murray was not deterred by the team’s defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 and called it a ‘rough day at the office.’ He gave a pep talk to everybody, hoping to make a strong comeback in the next game. Both the Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder were drained out by back-to-back games, according to the Nuggets’ interim head coach, David Adelman, who held short rest time responsible for the loss.

Jamal Murray displayed unwavering commitment to better performance in next game

Denver Nuggets’ defeat in Game 4 did not strip Jamal Murray of confidence and he gave a pep talk to everybody despite the team putting up a sluggish performance. Addressing the concern looming over the team’s performance in the game, he said strongly:

“It’s not a funeral, guys.

Best out of three. We lost the game. Onto the next.”

Wrapping up the game’s key moments, he said, “We made some shots, so it was good to see the ball go in. That gave us some leg, but we weren’t able to keep it up. Just a rough day at the office. We had our chances, had some opportunities; our defense held up for most of the game. It was just a tough outing.”

Denver Nuggets have tied the series so far with the Oklahoma City Thunder after dropping Game 4 to the latter. With 2-2 achieved so far, there is still a lot of fight remaining for both the team in the Round 2.

Denver Nuggets’ interim head coach blamed back-to-back games for their Game 4 loss

Denver Nuggets’ interim head coach, David Adelman, had no complaints about the boys. According to him, the sluggish offense in the game was primarily due to short rest time between the matchups. For him, the game turned out to be the survival of the fittest, and this time, the Thunder side gained supremacy by demonstrating better resilience and ability to fight. He said:

“I will say that I think both teams are very tired coming off an unbelievably physical overtime battle on a late Friday night. If it affected us, it surely affected them as well.

Both of us had super tired legs, so it was about who’s going to make that final run. When we got up eight, I thought we were making the push, and to their credit, they were the ones to make the final run.”
