“I still feel young”- Jose Ramirez reacts after becoming 24th player in MLB history to hit 250 home runs and 250 bases

It has been a big day for Jose Ramirez , as he has made baseball history by hitting 250 home runs and securing at least 250 bases, and he is the first ever baseball player in Cleveland Ramirez opens up about his significant achievement and says he thanks God for his beautiful journey in baseball.

Reacting to the achievement, Ramirez, through MLB.com said that he was really happy. Through his interpreter, Agustin Rivero, he said:


“I was smiling, It was a good moment, but especially seeing all the guys in the dugout trying to cheer me up and chanting my name.”

Further, Ramirez said that he would like to thank god for keeping him healthy. He said.


“I feel very happy about achieving it, But most importantly, thank you God for keeping me healthy and being able to play the game. Milestones are important, but for me the really important part is to keep playing and trying to win. Winning is the most important thing for me, and I still feel young.”

Further, he added:

“I feel like I can still continue doing this and hopefully we can continue adding up.”


Guardians’ manager Stephan Vogt praises Jose Ramirez’s skill setMeanwhile, it was a victory moment for the Cleveland Guardians. Their manager Stephen Vogt praised Jose Ramirez and said:

“It's just fun to watch, It's a testament to hard work for a really long time and being really, really good for a long time. …He just continues to get accolade after accolade, and I really enjoy watching it."

Further, he added:

“You have to take care of your body every day, You have to work hard and you have to continue to push yourself to get better in all areas. Hosey does that day in and day out, and he models that for the rest of our players. That's the thing we love.”
