RuneScape Dragonwilds Dog Days quest sends the players on a mission to uncover Garou's secrets. Garou is an ancient race with some mysterious rituals. Start the quest

To begin, head to Stormtouched Highlight and find Vannaka, a nearby campfire on the eastern cliffs. Vannaka will ask you to investigate Garou after retrieving the Tainted King’s Token from the leader.


Before you charge in, make sure to prepare properly. For it, gear up with the Bronze-tier armor and the weapons, stock some healing items (Wardstones and Weak Healing Potions) that will help you to sustain, and bring the arrows (if ranged) as the Garou King fight may demand some endurance.


Defeat Garou King

Garou King lurks in the northwest Highlands fortress. Fight through the minions of Garou to reach him. As part of some combat tips, make sure to follow the steps below.

• Use the shield if the attacks can be blocked. Parry to stun the King and then counterattack.
  
• Abyssal Whip, if the same is available. The Abyssal Snare can stun the King briefly.
  
• Remain mobile and dodge Garou’s heavy swings to avoid any unnecessary damage.
  

After you are defeated, loot Tainted King’s Token and return back to Vannaka. He will reveal that the coin is corrupted and requires purification ritual .



Unlocking ritual secrets of Garou

Find Ritual Book

Vannaka’s clue, “beneath the spines of a great wyrm,” will lead you to the Garou camp in Southern Highlands, near the massive dragon skeleton. Make sure to avoid lightning strikes. The area is completely storm-wracked. So, keep moving, and once inside the camp, find the book and then the Ritual of Purification instructions.


Gather the ritual materials

For the ritual, you will need,

• 2 Ram Horns- they are dropped by the Rams, the pink-horned sheep in the highlands.
  
• 3 Shock Bulbs- they can be harvested from the Wild Lapulis Vines, the hostile plants.
  

Perform the ritual

Take all the items to the Lougrim’s Shrine in the northern highlands and interact with it. Select and perform the purification ritual to cleanse the token. Once done, return to Vannaka to complete the quest and receive the Garou Highborn’s Cloak reward.
