Karwa Chauth is going to be celebrated tomorrow, October 20, 2024 and women are doing so many preparations for the supremely auspicious occasion of Karwa Chauth. This festival is widely celebrated by the Hindu married women and they observe their fast for their beloved husbands.

What is Sargi?

Sargi is the most important part of this festival which is performed early in the morning and this is an essential part of the ritual on the day of Karwa Chauth. It is specially prepared by Mother in law for her daughter in law. Sargi is a meal in which there are various types of dishes are prepared. This includes Parantha, Matthi, Seviyan, sweets, fruits, juices and other things according to the choice. Sargi is purely sattvik. This tradition is followed in various regions, where women wake up early in the morning and they prepare delicious food and eat it before sunrise.

Sunrise will occur at 6:25 AM on the day of Karwa Chauth, on October 20, 2024. According to this, women must eat their Sargi before that and they are advised to start this ritual by 4:25 AM.

Bhadra Kaal will start from October 20, 2024 - 06:25 AM and it will end at 06:46 AM so as per astrology it will not affect your fast any way as this is the period of 20 to 25 minutes.
