Netizens slam paparazzi for body-shaming Bharti Singh with 'Ubli hui Madhuri Dixit' comment; call them 'Awful and unprofessional'

Bharti Singh, who is one of the most talented comedians of the television industry, recently donned Madhuri Dixit's getup for Bollywood special episode of Laughter Chefs. Bharti wore a beautiful blue saree and looked pretty in the attire. However, while she was posing for the photographers, a few paps made distasteful body-shaming comment against the popular comedienne. While Bharti took the comments sportingly and continued to pose for the shutterbugs, netizens did not seemed pleased by these comments and slammed the paparazzi for their body-shaming remarks.

When the paparazzi referred to her as "ubli hui Madhuri Dixit," Bharti Singh playfully responded, "Kisne bola ubli hui Madhuri Dixit? Arey ye dekhiye, uble hue nahi fry kiye hue hain. Bol nahi sakte."

One of the netizens commented, "What an awful defamatory remark! She looks pretty and wears the sari so well as it shld be worn." While another said, "Ye kya bkwas comment kia he bdtmeez aadmi."

Another user wrote, "That’s not funny at all , yeh paps kitne unprofessional hai . Shame on these paps and varinder chawla what this caption. kuch to respect karo." "That’s rude," read another.

A user commented, "Hmmm... himmat dekho media fellows ki how dare they speak like that....but bharti he sikhaati hai na body shaming...achha toh nahi laga hoga sunn ke....but inn logon ko khus rakhti hai aisa sab sunn ke....taste of her own medicine."

A fan wrote, "This is not good to comment like this …. Vo has rahi h it doesn’t mean use bura nahi lag rha….. shame on you people…. vo kis mukaam par h k tum jese 36 gumte h usko apni news ki khabar banane k liye."

In 2021, Bharti Singh impressed fans with her remarkable transformation, shedding weight through intermittent fasting. She managed to go from 91 kg to 76 kg without giving up her beloved parathas and makhan (butter), proving that balance was key in her fitness journey.

During a throwback interview with Times of India TV, the actress had shared, "I am happy that I am feeling healthy and fit now. I do not get breathless now and feel lightheaded. My diabetes and asthma are also under control. I do not eat anything from 7 pm to 12 noon. I eat after 12 pm. I have eaten a lot of food for 30-32 years, and after that, I gave time to my body for one year and accepted everything."
