The Staff Selection Commission ( SSC ) is expected to announce the SSC GD Constable Result 2025 soon on its official website, ssc.gov.in. The much-awaited result is for the online exam held from February 4 to 25, 2025, to recruit candidates for GD Constable posts. A total of 53,690 vacancies are to be filled across various paramilitary forces including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assam Rifles, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Special Security Force (SSF).

Aspirants who appeared for the exam can expect the result to be released by the end of May 2025. The announcement will be made in a PDF format listing roll numbers of shortlisted candidates along with cut-off marks categorised by state and reservation category. This result marks the first step in a multi-stage selection process that includes physical and medical assessments.
When is SSC GD Constable result expected?The Staff Selection Commission has not shared any dates regarding the release for the result. Candidates who appeared for the CBT exam in February will be able to download their results soon. It is expected that the result will be announced in May 2025. Once an official confirmation is released by the SSC authorities, the same will be informed to the candidates.
SSC GD Constable 2025 Selection ProcessThe recruitment for SSC GD constable posts is conducted in four stages. These are explained here:

Computer-Based Test (CBT)

• An online test with 80 questions from Reasoning, General Knowledge, Maths, and English/Hindi.
  
• Duration: 60 minutes.
  
• There is negative marking for wrong answers.
  
• Marks from this stage count toward the final merit list.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Tests running ability (e.g., 5 km in 24 mins for males).
  
• Only qualifying in nature (no marks added).

Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Measures height, chest (for males), and weight.
  
• Different standards apply for various categories and regions.

Medical Exam and Document Verification

• Checks overall health and fitness.
  
• Candidates must also verify their documents.
