Kannada Director Mansore Wraps First Phase Of 'Doora Theera Yaana' Shooting, Prepares For Second Phase

National Film Award-winning Kannada director Mansore, known for his intense feature films addressing social issues, is venturing into new territory with his upcoming film, Doora Theera Yaana.

First phase shoot wrapped upDirector Mansore recently announced on social media that the first phase of shooting for Doora Theera Yaana has been completed, and preparations for the second phase are underway. The film marks his third collaboration with the D Creations banner headed by Devaraj, who previously produced Mansore’s acclaimed films Act 1978 and 19.20.21.The film stars Vijay Krishna and Priyanka Kumar in lead roles, adding their chemistry to the road movie. At the film’s launch, Mansore expressed his excitement, noting that Doora Theera Yaana would be his fifth directorial project. According to the director, Doora Theera Yaara will witness a change in his storytelling format without compromising on the intensity of the subject, presenting a modern love story.

About Doora Theera Yaana Doora Theera Yaana is set as a road movie, with the story starting in Bengaluru and unfolding as the characters embark on a journey to Goa. Adding a unique touch, the male lead is a violinist, while the female protagonist plays the flute. “Their musical talents are just hobbies; they are both professional software engineers. The search for love between the two is the essence of Doora Theera Yaana,” Mansore added during the muhurta of the film.The director also revealed that he spent over a year researching the subject to bring authenticity to the narrative.
