GITEX Africa, the continent’s largest tech and startup show, recently concluded its three-day run in Marrakesh, Morocco, bringing together a powerful mix of policy leaders, visionaries, changemakers, and innovators. The summit provided a strategic platform for global stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on inclusive and equitable growth of the global digital economy.
, a leader in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and skilling, made a strong presence at the summit, represented by Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Education.

During his participation, Shri Jayant Chaudhary engaged in high-level bilateral meetings, panel discussions, and visited pavilions of Indian startups showcasing innovation across digital identity, payments, fintech, AI, and e-commerce.
“India’s Digital Public Infrastructure has driven transformative changes in areas like Aadhaar, UPI, ONDC, and healthcare,” said Shri Jayant Chaudhary.
He emphasized India’s strength in integrating advanced technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure into its skilling ecosystem through initiatives like the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), which has already onboarded over one crore users in less than two years.

He also underlined that India has emerged as a global talent hub for AI professionals, recording a 33.39% YoY growth in AI talent hiring, as noted in the AI Stanford Index 2025.

On the sidelines of the summit, the Minister held key bilateral discussions with Moroccan leaders including:
