A popular brand is opening a new store as part of its 2025 expansion plan. Footwear retailer Pavers has announced a store will be opening in M Cwmbran shopping centre in Cwmbran, Wales, on November 7.
In June, the retailer announced plans to open 20 new stores by the end of this year, in addition to its 190 pre-existing stores. This follows the brand acquiring Jones Bootmaker and Herring Shoes in 2018 and achieving a turnover of £169 million in the 2023/24 financial year. Opened in 1971, Pavers is a family-run business that sells what they call "Feel Great Footwear" that are "designed with care to meet a range of needs and tastes". They sell mens and womens shoes including boots, trainers, slippers and sandals. To celebrate the Cwmbran opening, Pavers is holding a competition - customers going into the store over the first month can enter a ballot to win a free pair of shoes every month for a year.
Brett Sharman, area manager at Pavers Shoes, said: "We're thrilled to be opening our new store at M Cwmbran, bringing our signature blend of comfort and style to a brand-new audience.
"At Pavers, our mission has always been to put our customers first - offering footwear that not only looks great but feels great too.
"Our store manager, Kerstie, and assistant manager, Tara, are looking forward to meeting everyone when we open our doors in November."
Adam Martin, director and head of Bristol at LCP UK, part of M Core, said: "We are thrilled to welcome another new tenant to M Cwmbran this year as we continue the momentum of new store openings.
"We look forward to welcoming customers to the store ahead of the festive season."
This year, Pavers has closed two stores - one at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in York and the other in Princes Quay Shopping Centre in Hull.
