Loose Women made a triumphant return to our screens on Wednesday (2 July), with Charlene White steering the conversation as the day's host on the popular ITV programme.
Joining her were panellists Janet Street Porter, Jane Moore, and Sunetra Sarker, all ready to dive into the latest news stories and hot topics of the day.
In one part of the show, the panel tackled the issue of negativity, pondering over their own tendencies to be overly pessimistic at times.
It was during this discussion that Sunetra opened up about two recent injuries she endured, which had caused her considerable pain.
"Six weeks ago, sprained my ankle. It was agony, I cannot explain this pain," she confided to her fellow panellists.
She then explained the rather unglamorous cause of her injury: "I had a dead leg, I was trying to put my foot in a slipper. It's nothing showbiz, nothing glam! I just was old, I couldn't get my foot in my slipper."
But the revelations didn't stop there; Sunetra went on to disclose that she had subsequently sprained her other ankle in a separate mishap a few weeks later, reports Belfast Live.
Describing the unfortunate event, she recounted: "On my way to physio for said sprained ankle, six weeks after the injury, my flip flop gets caught under the door mat.
"Flip flop gets caught, I trip, my left leg comes out to save my face from hitting the ground and guess what?! sprained left ankle!"
The recounting of her misfortunes proved too much for her Loose Women colleagues, with Jane particularly unable to contain her laughter, hiding her face as she chuckled at the absurdity of Sunetra's tale.
Sunetra showcased one of her crutches live on-air, alongside a photo displaying her severely swollen ankle.

"So, now Dr Zoe Hanna from Casualty is sitting in Casualty for six hours, being recognised by everybody. Yes, awful!" she confessed, referencing her character from the beloved BBC series.
Closing the segment, Charlene humorously suggested Sunetra reevaluate her shoe choices given that both of her mishaps transpired whilst improperly shod.
In other parts of Wednesday's programme, the panel engaged with Dragons' Den tycoon Emma Grede and esteemed Royal author Hugo Vickers.
Loose Women airs on weekdays on ITV1 at 12.30pm
