Prince Harry "won't change" warns a Royal Family insider, despite offering an olive branch. Harry and King Charles' relationship showed a glimmer of hope following the meeting of their aides a fortnight ago. Harry's chief communications officer Meredith Maines and PR rep Liam Maguire were pictured with the King's top aide, Communications Secretary Tobyn Andreae, in London.
However, a Sussex source revealed that, although he plans to share his calendar with the firm, "he doesn't like being controlled". Speaking to the Mail On Sunday, the insider explained that, although Harry was offering an "olive branch", it does not mean he would be open to fully working with Buckingham Palace. "Harry still doesn't like being controlled by the Royal machinery, and that won't change," they said. "However, if the Royal Family have full sight of his movements they can at least plan accordingly. It's a significant gesture."
