Clarkson's Farm breakout star Harriet Cowan has suffered an unexpected bump in her brand new on-screen career - and it's all down to some runaway sheep. The 24-year-old farmer, who joined the hit Amazon Prime show in series four, recently announced she was launching her own YouTube channel, Harriet On The Farm. Her debut video was set to premiere at 6pm on Sunday, but things didn't quite go to plan.

Harriet revealed the chaos to fans on Instagram, admitting a last-minute farming drama had derailed her plans. She told followers: "UPDATE!!! Due to technical issues (the sheep got out) I haven't been able to upload the video tonight so I'm rescheduling to tomorrow night at 7pm!! So sorry but this is reality of farming!! Take it up with the sheep..." Her first video, teased on social media as a Q&A introducing herself and her new platform, will now go live on Monday, September 1 at 7pm instead.

Harriet won fans' hearts when she first appeared at Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm, stepping in while regular sidekick Kaleb Cooper was away on tour.

Viewers praised her down-to-earth charm and hard-working attitude, and her popularity quickly took off. The Derbyshire-born star previously worked gruelling shifts as a nurse before swapping scrubs for overalls, balancing her hospital work with caring for animals on her family's farm.

Since her TV success, she's admitted that agriculture has taken over her life.

She explained: "It's true, I am no longer nursing because it appears I got the bug. I'm going to do bank shifts and I'm still going to be working in the NHS, but yeah, just not daily."

Her YouTube channel promises fans a behind-the-scenes look at her everyday farming life, from day in the life vlogs and tutorials to appearances from her partner James.

Harriet said she hopes it will become a space for positivity and community.

She told her followers: "I just want it to be a positive environment where people can chat, and ask questions, and learn from it - that's the base of what I want to do.

"And then hopefully it'll grow into something where we've got a lovely little community."

Her social media following has already rocketed, with nearly 800,000 TikTok fans and millions of likes on her videos.

Earlier this year, she even poked fun at Clarkson himself, joking that he's "got the physique of a farmer," though she admitted she hadn't been too familiar with his motoring past on Top Gear and The Grand Tour.

Despite the sheep scuppering her YouTube debut, Harriet is determined to press ahead - proving that her new career, like farming itself, won't always run to schedule.
