A huge number of firefighters have been deployed to tackle a tower block blaze in Birmingham. West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) said crews attended the blaze in Colmore Circus Queensway, Birmingham, just after 4.30pm on Monday.
Six fire engines, three brigade response vehicles and a hydraulic aerial platform were sent to the fire on the top floor of the 16-storey high rise. A cordon has been put in place stretching from Snow Hill Queensway to Livery Street, according to WMFS.
