BBC Strictly fans share concern for Chris McCausland as they all spot the same thing

has become a hit with viewers on with the stand-up comedian being tipped as the show's favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy. The actor, 42, joined his dance partner , 35, as they prepared for Saturday night's show.

However, fans of the comic urged him to take it easy, after they all noted the same thing about his appearance in a candid clip shared on social media today.

Dianne began: "Oh, Chris. Look at you. Your little rosy cheeks today." To which Chris quizzed: "How red is my face?"

He went on: "This is the most I've sweated."

The dancing duo had been rehearsing their Tango to Rock And Roll All Nite by KISS ahead of Saturday night's show for Icon's Week, but Chris admitted the training has been "so tiring".

Chris had been working on his "frame" and said keeping his arms in hold had been "exhausting."

"That's why I'm sweating so much," he remarked.

Viewers flocked to the comment section as one concerned fan wrote: "You look absolutely knackered, Chris."

Another agreed: "He looks knackered." A third warned: "Be careful Chris you do look tired... take it steady."

Others gushed over the comedian as one fan commented: "I think Chris is looking younger every week. Being taught to dance is definitely agreeing with him."

Another remarked: "That insight from Chris seems obvious but so true - he doesn't even know what a dance looks like from the get-go, let alone comparing his fellow competitors doing the same dance. Legends, got my vote!!"

Chris is the show's first blind contestant ever to participate in the dance competition.

He was 22 when he was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a hereditary condition that causes progressive vision loss due to the degeneration of cells in the retina.

This rare eye disease slowly diminishes the retina's function, leading to a gradual loss of sight.

He previously spoke about the condition with the i newspaper and how others in his family were also affected.

"My grandmother had it, and my mum. Basically, I'd been going blind very slowly since I was born, and so didn't even really notice it happening," he said.
