Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kajol is marking the 29th anniversary of her iconic film, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, as she prepares for her upcoming thriller, Do Patti.

On Sunday, Kajol shared a nostalgic post on Instagram featuring a classic poster from the film, where she is seen perched on the shoulders of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, dressed in traditional wedding attire.

In her caption, she humorously wished everyone a "very hungry and successful Karva Chauth," suggesting fans might want to visit Maratha Mandir to watch the film again. She accompanied her post with the hashtags #29yearsofddlj and #ddlj.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, directed by Aditya Chopra in his debut, has become a cultural phenomenon. Renowned for its memorable soundtrack, the film resonates strongly with audiences, particularly those in the Indian diaspora, reflecting themes of love, culture, and nostalgia for their homeland.
