Was Sikandar a hit or a flop? Did Salman Khan's film recover its budget? Answers to all questions related to Salman Khan's Sikandar.
Salman Khan's Sikandar has suffered a huge setback at the box office. This action drama film directed by A.R. Murugadoss had Rashmika Mandana and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles along with Salman. But the film neither entered the hearts nor the minds of the audience. Made on a huge budget of Rs 200 crore, Salman Khan's Sikandar has flopped at the box office. In this way, this is Salman Khan's second flop film after Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Sikandar earned only Rs 200.93 crore at the worldwide box office, which could not even recover its budget. The film made a net collection of Rs 109 crore in the domestic market, which is disappointing considering Salman Khan's star power and the promotion of the film. The film also received mixed reactions on social media, where some praised Salman's action sequences, while many called it boring. It has been declared a flop on IMDb.
Salman Khan's films are continuously failing to attract audiences to the theatres. Weak story and direction along with average acting is becoming a noose around his neck. Salman Khan's next film may be with Sanjay Dutt which will be an action film. The name of this film is being told as Ganga Ram. Apart from this, preparations are also being made to make Kick 2 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. It remains to be seen when Bhaijaan gets his next hit film.
