Prabhas Eyes Pushpa-Style Box Office Blitz — 'Raja Saab' Set for December Showdown!

Send Push

After ruling the box office with the mega-success of Kalki 2898 AD — which raked in over ₹1000 crore — Prabhas is gearing up for his next cinematic storm. And now, the release date of his much-anticipated film Raja Saab is finally coming into focus.

Originally slated for April 10, Raja Saab was postponed — a move that helped it dodge a potential clash with Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat’. But now, insiders say the makers are locking in a new date: December 5, 2025.

Triple Treat: Prabhas in Three Avatars

Directed by Maruthi, Raja Saab will reportedly see Prabhas in three different roles, including that of a ghost — something totally new for the actor. Most of the shooting has been wrapped up, and now post-production is in full swing.

The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, with Sanjay Dutt rumoured to play a powerful character.

Why December 5 Matters: The Allu Arjun Effect

There’s more to this date than just calendar convenience. Industry watchers believe Prabhas is mirroring Allu Arjun’s Pushpa strategy.

Last year, Pushpa 2 dropped on December 5, with paid previews on the 4th — a masterstroke that helped the film cross ₹1800 crore globally. Now, with Raja Saab eyeing the same date, speculation is strong that Prabhas wants to tap into that festive season magic.

What’s Next?

The makers are reportedly planning to release the teaser soon, aligning it with the buzz around the new date. An official confirmation is expected in the coming weeks, but the December 5 window is already creating a ripple in industry circles.

Prabhas is currently wrapping up Fauji and preparing to dive into Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ next. But all eyes now are on how Raja Saab shapes up — and whether Prabhas can repeat or even surpass the Pushpa playbook.
