The Indian women's cricket team has defeated England in the second consecutive T20 and has taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. In the match played at the County Ground, the Indian women batted first and scored 181/4 runs on the scoreboard with the help of innings of 63 63 runs each by Jemima Rodriguez and Amanjot Kaur.
In reply, the English team could score only 157 runs by losing seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. After a crushing defeat by 24 runs, the English will now want to win the third and decisive match to be held at The Oval on July 4 at all costs, or else they will lose the series. India had won the first match by a huge margin of 97 runs.
When India's start faltered, Jemima Rodriguez and Amanjot Kaur scored brilliant half-centuries and pulled the team out of trouble. After this, the bowlers performed brilliantly and neutralized England's challenge, even though Tammy Beaumont scored her first T20 half-century after four years.
10 IPL stars, including Rishabh Pant, will participate in the auction, and bidding will be done in this T20 league
Despite the crushing defeat in the first match at Trent Bridge, England adopted the same team and strategy and won the toss, inviting India to bat. Initially, England's fast bowlers restricted India to 31 runs for 3 wickets in the powerplay, but Jemima and Amanjot changed the course of the match by making a partnership of 93 runs.
