Bollywood veteran Ajay Devgan, soon to be seen in Son of Sardar 2, recently shared candid insights about his film choices during an interview with comedian Ravi Gupta, released on Netflix alongside the streaming of Raid 2. Ajay and Riteish Deshmukh, who co-starred in Raid 2, discussed their experiences in the industry, revealing why Ajay sometimes ends up working in films he personally considers “rubbish.”
Ajay explained that many times he refuses roles he doesn’t connect with, emphasizing that enjoying the character and having a good rapport with the film crew is crucial since shooting can last for months. He said waking up every day and feeling positive about going to work is important for him. If he does not get along with the people on set or the atmosphere is tense, he admits he feels like running away.
Riteish added that occasionally actors accept roles not for their own benefit but out of kindness towards the person offering the part. Ajay agreed and humorously noted he has taken on many such projects, even if they might “die taking him along.” This statement reflects the complex mix of professional commitment and personal sacrifice that often guides his career decisions.
