Following the success of their first collaboration back in March (which sold out almost immediately), Wrangler has once again teamed up with Yellowstone star and country music legend Lainey Wilson for a brand new collection. With autumn on its way and the cowboycore trend showing no signs of slowing down, the collab is a match made in fashion heaven, full of autumnal shades and textures with Lainey’s – and Wrangler’s – signature denim flair and western influences.
The new Wrangler X Lainey Wilson collection is now available to shop and features everything from flattering flared denim jumpsuits to patchwork corduroy co-ords and embroidered shirts, with a couple of cosy autumn-ready jackets thrown in for good measure. Perfect for any last minute festivals you have on the horizon, not to mention ideal for giving your new season wardrobe a western makeover.

One of the standout pieces in the collection is the patchwork co-ord, which includes the Wrangler x Lainey Wilson Patchwork Bottom (£125) and the matching Patchwork Blazer (£140). Both pieces are made from corduroy, with different shades of brown creating the patchwork effect for the perfect transitional autumn outfit.

The trousers have a classic fit and flare shape that hugs your hips and thighs, before flaring out at the bottom so you can easily wear a pair of your favourite boots underneath. Whilst the trousers are available to shop now, you’ll have to hang on a little longer for the matching blazer, which will be landing on the Wrangler website very soon.
Another perfect piece for autumn is the Wrangler x Lainey Wilson Catsuit Flare (£140) which has a figure-hugging fit inspired by the 70s, with flared legs, long sleeves and zip fastening up the front. It’s been designed with princess seams on the bodice for an extra flattering fit, and subtle western details like copper collar tips, a rope logo patch and W-shaped stitching on the back pockets.
As well as statement pieces, the Wrangler X Lainey Wilson collection also features plenty of wardrobe basics that you could easily mix and match into your existing outfits for a more subtle western vibe without being out and out cowboy inspired. The white Embroidered Shirt (£70) could easily replace your usual go-to white shirt for an understated look, with the pointed collar, embroidery and shotgun cuffs still giving a nod to the western influences.
The Studded Western Crew Sweatshirt (£75) is also perfect for a more laidback look, with studded star details on the shoulders and a dusty pink colour combination that’s perfect for autumn. And of course the pièce de résistance is the Lainey Coat, which is coming soon for £180.

It has an oversized fit that’s perfect for layering, a soft sherpa lining and trim, and a washed stretch denim outer layer that’ll keep you toasty and warm as the seasons change. You can get it in either black and white, or a jacquard material with a classic western blanket print.
The cowboycore trend is still making big waves in the fashion world with no sign of it waning any time soon. Plenty of other brands are also sticking to the trend, and if you want some more western pieces to add to your wardrobe we also love New Look’s Fringe Collarless Suedette Jacket which is now on sale for £44.99 at ASOS, and the Marlene Fringed Denim Jacket which you can also pick up on sale at All Saints for £119, down from £199.
