Tony Bellew has hit back at Tommy Robinson after the far-right activist labelled him 'a b****' for his views on religion.
In May, Robinson walked free from jail four months ahead of schedule, having originally been handed an 18-month stretch for contempt of court. Robinson, 42, had violated a 2021 High Court ruling that banned him from repeating bogus claims about a Syrian refugee who had won a libel case against him.
Since his release, Robinson has continued to be active on social media, recently chatting to rapper Akala on YouTube. Earlier this year, Bellew had slammed Robinson's stance, reports the Express. Referencing Robinson's attacks on Islam, Bellew, 42, labelled Robinson 'racist' and 'disgusting'.
Former world champion Bellew said in the interview with Boxing King Media: "I saw the interview he did with the rapper, and he basically said he's an enemy of Islam. Why would anyone be an enemy of any religion?

"There are bad Muslims, there are bad Christians, there are bad Catholics, there are bad Jews. I didn't like the narrative Tommy Robinson was painting to be honest. Why would anyone pick targets?
"It's like saying there's good white people and there's good black people. There are good and bad in all races, religions, creeds and ethnicities. And this man's painting is a narrative that there's something wrong with Islam.
"I've grown up amongst the nation of Islam and people who are devout Muslims and they are nothing but peaceful. It's disgusting to paint that light and frighten people they way he has done. I think it's wrong, to be fair."
The English Defence League founder posted the interview on X and launched a vicious tirade at the former boxer. "What's your take on Tony Bellew bending over for Islam?" he wrote. "Using the boring 'racist' label. I didn't take him for being a b****."
And after Robinson had replied to Bellew, the retired boxer hit back, writing on social media: "The things you’ve just called me here you’re going to be held accountable for!! See all these rapists and beasts you’re talking about! There is hundreds of thousands of WHITE paedos and rapists you say f*** all about! You have an agenda that you’re being paid to follow unlike me!
"All rapists and beasts should be killed upon conviction! (White, black, Muslim, Catholic!) I don’t care what you are your either a good person or a bad one! I’ve grown up around Muslims my whole life! Never ever have I seen what you are talking about or spouting! I have friends across the whole country who live in areas like you're talking about and say you're a liar! Anyway this is all I’ll say on the matter now and I hope I bump into you soon you mouthy p****! Keep this energy!"
