My Girl, which was released in 1992, is a coming-of-age drama which follows the friendship between Vada and Thomas J.
Now streaming on ITVX for free, the movie, which has been dubbed the 'saddest' film, has left viewers in tears over the years.
Vada is an 11-year-old girl living in Pennsylvania who has hypochondria and develops an obsession with death.

She is begins to form a friendship with an unpopular boy named Thomas J who is allergic to "everything".
Over time, Vada and Thomas J grow closer and even share their first kiss with one another.
However, tragedy strikes and the pair are heartbreakingly ripped apart, leaving Vada devastated.
My Girl currently has a score of 57% on Rotten Tomatoes with many agreeing it is a "tear-jerker" and critics praised it for its representations of death and loss.
The film stars Macaulay Culkin as Thomas J while Anna Chlumsky is Vada. Jamie Lee Curtis also starred in the movie as Shelly DeVoto, who becomes engaged to Vada's father Harry Sultenfuss, played by Dan Aykroyd.
Viewers have shared how they were left sobbing when watching the film as one reviewed: "This movie, it punched a deep hole right through my heart, seeing Vada and Thomas's connection, it captured me, reminded me of my childhood.
"This movie explains the sequences of life & death, but in a mature, heartwarming way. I definitely recommend this movie for all ages, but especially for children going through adolescence. Overall, great movie, 5 stars."
