Following relegation on Saturday, Manchester United transfer targetcould be up for grabs for £30million this summer. The Tractor Boys' 3-0 loss to United sealed their swift return to the Championship, activating the relegation clause in Delap's contract, and Kieran McKenna believes Delap can now make the jump to a league juggernaut.
United are set on signing a striker in the upcoming summer transfer window, and Delap is reportedly on their radar. He moved to Ipswich last summer and has netted 12 goals in his debut season as a player.
With Delap scoring 36.4 per cent of Ipswich's league goals this season, it's no surprise he's in high demand. Ruben Amorim aims to bolster his United attack this summer with the acquisitions of Matheus Cunha from and the Ipswich forward.

Despite only turning 22 in February, the former youngster's rapid rise and performances this season have left many United fans eager to see him switch to Old Trafford this summer.
Ipswich manager and ex-United coach Kieran McKenna believes Delap has the potential to excel at the highest level. Asked if Delap could cut it at a big club ahead of the weekend's defeat at St James' Park, McKenna said: "I don't know who it would be accepted by, because that's not by myself or Ipswich.
"Liam's focus is still here and finishing the season as strong as possible. As I've said before, I think there's certainly a possibility that he's an Ipswich player next year.
"I don't think anything's decided in anyone's mind. But can Liam play for the biggest clubs in the country, the biggest clubs in the He certainly can. I fully believe that.

"He's already shown the impact he can have at Premier League level in a team that have really been fighting for everything. I think he can have an outstanding impact at this level.
"He's happy and he's developing really well here. He has the potential. I think he will, in his career, go on to do some really, really good things."
Despite McKenna's claims that the player could remain at Portman Road, it seems likely Delap will eventually move on. With interest in the young striker expected to skyrocket, it appears will strongly consider Delap's £30m tag as a wise long-term investment, with his best years likely to be ahead of him.
