Sandals are a summer wardrobe staple, and the right pair should be timeless, comfortable and easy to style with just about anything. It’s no surprise, therefore, that Hermes’ Oran Sandals have become a benchmark for great summer footwear, with countless celebrities opting for the £610 slides.
However we don’t all have an A-lister budget, which is why when Emily Atack shared her newest sandals that look just like the luxury pair at a fraction of the cost, they went straight in our shopping basket. The Loupe Smart Slider Sandals from Dune are much more affordably priced at £99, and are the perfect pick if you have a holiday coming up.

One reason the sandals are such a big hit with celebs is how versatile they are, and the Dune pair are just as easy to style with almost anything in your wardrobe. You can wear them with some linen trousers and a bikini by the pool, with a pair of jeans and a T-shirt to run errands or a flowing midi dress for dinner, so you know they’ll be a pair you go back to time and time again.

The Loupe Smart Slider Sandals are made from real leather, which means they’re both hardwearing and supple. They also feature a cushioned sock and low one centimetre heel that keeps them comfortable for wearing all day (and night).
There are other affordable options on the high street too, like this £35 pair of Flat Mules from Marks & Spencer, which come in three neutral shades and are made from faux leather. If you want to stick to real leather without breaking the bank, these Tandra Leather Mules in Tan are on sale at Schuh, down from £35 to £16.99.
However the tan pair of the Loupe Smart Slider Sandals give you the best Hermes-inspired look in our opinion, with their contrast stitching giving them an elevated look. They also come in 10 different colours, if you want something a little different from the usual neutral shades.
You can choose from classic shades like black or white, or opt for a bold colour like red, orange or green. For something totally different, there’s also a denim pair, as well as either gold or silver rhinestone-covered versions.
The Dune sandals also have a glowing 4.7 star rating out of 5 from shoppers, with one writing: “The shoes are so comfortable and such a good quality, didn't regret buying them! The size fits perfectly.”
Another agreed: “My main priority when looking for a new pair of sandalswas quality and I definitely found that with these. I wasn’t quite expecting them to be sooo comfortable though. I don’t think I’ve ever had a pair of sandals that I can walk around in all day that look this good.”
However some shoppers couldn’t agree on the fit, with one saying: “Beautiful mule but again so narrow, even in the wider fitting. I recommend this item if you have very dainty feet! Mine aren’t what I’d regard as wide as I have no problems in other makes of shoe & always wear standard widths.”
Whilst another simply wrote: “Too wide”.
Others loved them, however, saying: “Great looking sandals and very good quality. Very comfortable.”
