Letitia Dean made her dramatic return to EastEnderstonight, and fans were overjoyed. The beloved actress has been off screens for five months, with her character, Sharon Watts, heading off to Australia following Martin Fowler's funeral.
During tonight's episode, Sharon couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Zoe Slater standing outside the Square with a cup of tea in her hand. Rushing Albie inside, Vicki later revealed that she thought it was best not to tell Sharon Zoe had returned, fearing she'd never come back if she knew.
Sharon and Zoe's feud goes way back, starting with their love triangle with Dennis - Sharon's adopted brother. Zoe later lied about being pregnant with Dennis' baby - with Dennis leaving Sharon to be with Zoe until he found out the truth.

Elsewhere, Zoe later teamed up with Chrissie Watts and Sam Mitchell to take revenge on Dirty Den, in a bid to make Sharon see her father's true colours - leading to his violent demise. It was Chrissie who made the fatal blow, although Zoe 'left him to die' after making the first strike.
So of course, Sharon was less than pleased to see Zoe back. Zack tried to convince his sister Zoe would be gone before she knew it, as she responded: "Yeah, in a body bag I've put her in!"
Zoe was later taken to the police, who questioned her about her previous attack on Greg. Although she was released, she wasn't free as she later had more questions from Sharon. However, in a shock turn of events, Sharon appeared to call a truce.
"When I met Chrissie in prison, I'll never forgive her, but I get it. And I get you. And I've lost a really good mate this year, I'm tired. I lost my son, the only thing I had left of Dennis. And all I want to do now is keep moving forward, so if you want to be here then family is family. Don't worry, I won't get in your way."
However, spoilers for this week reveal the truce may not last long - as Zoe and Vicki are set to have a fight on the Square. Sharon later confronts Zoe in The Vic, but Zoe hits back with a shocking admission. Whatever the admission may be, Sharon refuses to believe Zoe and loses her temper before Kat chucks Sharon and Vicki out of The Vic.
But what could the admission be and how will it change things on the Square?
Despite all the drama, fans were over the moon to see Sharon back on the Square, as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter to rejoice. "What a moment firstly Sharon FINALLY back on the square but also this was definitely a moment of cinema. I like the way they did the opening for today’s episode. It’s as if Sharon had a sixth sense that Zoe was back!" exclaimed one.
Another wrote: "The diagoue from Sharon & The Slaters at the start of tonight's episode is fantastic! Loved the Cherry mention from the Slaters! The mentions of Denny Jnr as well are devastating. He should never have been killed off!"
"The side shots, the closeups. It’s 2005 again and I’m obsessed," said a third.
