Amazon drops Echo Dot model to eye-catching cheaper price

With life being so busy, we could all do with an extra helping hand around the house. To save time and effort, there are many home devices that you can now control with just your voice - and one in particular has been described as a ‘game-changer’.

The Echo Dot (newest generation) on Amazon, which is currently available for £29.99, has been heavily reduced by nearly 50% from its original price of £54.99. But be aware that this price offer ends on October 14 at 11.59pm, so shoppers need to be quick.

The device offers a rich, vibrant sound, with improved audio, the brand says. Customers can enjoy music, audiobooks, and podcasts via Wi-fi or Bluetooth, and they can ask Alexa for weather updates, timers, answers and playful interactions.

Shoppers can also buy Apple’s HomePod (2nd generation). Although more expensive, at a price of £299, the brand says it has an immersive sound system, spatial audio, room sensing, sound recognition and Siri, which can assist with specific requests.

The Echo Dot (newest generation) is well-liked by customers, who have given the product an average 4.7 out of five-star rating, from more than 46,000 reviews. Shoppers have praised many aspects, including its ‘sleek, compact design’.
