1. Gaylord – Revitalised Culinary Legacy in Churchgate

Gaylord has relaunched under Dhruv and Divij Lamba with a bold new menu that bridges the flavour of old Bombay and modern dining. Think tangy Chicken Chaat, silky Mushroom Pâté, smoky Tandoor Kathal Burrah, followed by mains like Red Pepper Chilli Risotto, Mangalorean Prawn Curry, Balti Meat, and Soya Tikka Lababdar. Classics like Dal Sukhi, Kwality Chana, Chicken A La Kiev, and Market Fish & Chips stay on the menu. Desserts include Japanese Cheesecake, New York Cheesecake and Tiramisu.

2. Mercii – Nikkei x European Fusion in Santacruz West

Mercii, co-founded by Arpita Khan Sharma & Richboyz Hospitality, now offers a menu by Chef Beena Norohna that blends Japanese-Peruvian precision with European touches. Dishes to watch are scallop tiradito, brie & pear salad, smoked duck croquettes, vibrant sushi rolls, rose-shaped truffle ravioli, amaranth cannelloni, and theatrical tableside Cabbage au Flambé. For dessert there is kunafa-wrapped cheesecake, vegan chocolate mousse, rice pudding with pandan etc.

3. Episode One, Powai – Comfort with a Twist

Episode One has dropped a new menu by Chef Sahil Singh with playful twists on comfort food + global influences: Chicken Haleem Tarts, Lamb Kebbi on Pita, Paneer Katsu Sando, Blue Pea & Asparagus dumplings, Chingri Malai Prawns with Kerala brown rice. Also pizzas, sushi, burgers, éclairs, cheesecakes – a wide spread. The interiors mix gymkhana club nostalgia with anti-colonial art, making the ambience stand out.

4. The BlueBop Café, Khar – Comfort Meets Balance

BlueBop Café in Khar has rolled out a refreshed menu that balances comfort and health. Start with small plates like mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and prawn balchao, then move to mains such as the Farmers Delight burger, wood-fired pizzas, creamy risotto, truffle mac & cheese, Avocado on Sourdough and Norwegian salmon. 5. Red Box, Andheri – Matcha Takes the Lead
Red Box by the China Gate Group is opening its second outlet in Andheri, bringing its signature buzz with a matcha-led menu. 6. RD Burman Night at Baroke – Every Thursday

Every Thursday, Baroke hosts a dedicated listening session celebrating the music of R.D. Burman, played exclusively on original vinyl. Known as India’s most experimental and genre-defining composer, Pancham’s soundtracks come alive in Baroke’s vinyl-only setting, offering music as it was originally recorded, authentic, analogue, and uninterrupted.
