The Odisha government also runs a scheme which was started this time on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi i.e. 17 September 2024. The name of this scheme is Subhadra Yojana, the benefit of which is available only to women, but do you know which women are eligible for this scheme? Let's know about the scheme first
The name of this scheme is Subhadra Yojana, which has a provision to give benefits only to women. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial benefits to about one crore women so that women empowerment can be promoted. For this, the government also gave the first installment to be given under the scheme.

Under this Subhadra scheme, one installment will be given every year on the occasion of Women's Day and the second installment will be given to women on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. This scheme will be run for the next 5 years i.e. from the year 2024-25 to 2028-29, you can take advantage of this scheme.

The benefits to the beneficiaries are

When you join this Subhadra scheme, there is a provision to give you Rs 10 thousand annually and this money is given in two installments of Rs 5-5 thousand. This money is sent directly to the bank account of women through DBT. The first installment under the scheme was released on 17 September 2024.

Are you eligible?

Under PM Subhadra Yojana, only those women get benefit who are natives of Odisha. Also, the age of the applicant must be between 21 and 60 years. If you fulfill both these things then you are considered eligible for the scheme.
