Earlier on Monday, The LSG owner praised the new batting sensation for his record breaking knock against Gujarat Titans. He wrote "Salute to the spirit, the confidence, the talent... the young Vaibhav Suryavanshi... wow!"

Suryavanshi reached the three figure mark with a six off Rashid Khan. His innings made him the Indian batter to hit fastest IPL century to date. At just 14 years and 32 days old, the youngster from Bihar also became the youngest player in IPL history to score a century. In response to the frantic knock, Yashasvi Jaiswal hugged the teenager.
After getting dismissed for 101 off 38 balls, the teenager was giving a standing ovation not only by the home crowd but even the supporters of Gujarat Giants. It was an innings which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present at the stadium.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi sets IPL stage on fire
The cricketer from Bihar made his IPL debut against Lucknow Super Giants. The eighth-grader announced himself in style by launching a massive six off Shardul Thakur on the very first ball he faced. He went on to score 34 off just 20 deliveries, peppered with three sixes and two fours. Following the innings he has been helping RR get god starts at the top. Hos latest knock keeps his team alive and running in race to the playoffs.
