Tara Sutaria lit up the runway on Day 2 of India Couture Week 2025, turning heads as she walked for Rose Room by Isha Jajodia. The actor and singer looked like she had stepped straight out of a dream, embodying grace, elegance, and a hint of old-world charm.
Decoding her outfit
Tara wore a breathtaking ivory and gold couture gown that beautifully blended vintage inspiration with modern glam. The outfit featured a structured corset-style bodice adorned with delicate metallic embroidery - think intricate florals and vine motifs that sparkled subtly under the lights. The voluminous skirt was made of soft lace, flowing with every step and adding drama without being overwhelming.
Romantic styling with a modern twist
Complementing the gown was a champagne-toned pearl necklace, offering a regal finish that didn’t overpower the look. Her makeup was soft and radiant, complete with nude lips, a rosy flush, and luminous skin. The hairstyle- middle-parted romantic curls- tied the look together, giving Tara a timeless, fairytale-like aura.

Trolled for ill-fitted corset
Though Tara stole the show in the ivory gown, netizens and fashion critiques on Diet Sabya's Instagram post said the corset did her wrong. One user said, "The corset is ill fitted. Otherwise it would be perfect." While another said, "She is looking like mother of two kids because of that corset.

One user, disappointed with the outfit said, "Why on earth is this corset in a frigging couture show? Did we just get a peep on the inside lining of that corset? Who approved this horrible fit and whyyyyy???
Rose Room's couture vision
Isha Jajodia’s Rose Room collection this season leaned heavily into romantic, vintage-inspired silhouettes while still feeling relevant and fresh. The use of metallic threadwork, updated styling, and statement structures made each piece runway-ready for the modern bride or couture enthusiast. "Roseroom by Isha Jajodia was a romantic affair and after more than a decade in business she’s been quietly a business of desirable clothes that women want. Lace, actual gold and hundreds of hours of labour! And the cherry on top is certified Alumni miss ma’am Tara Sutaria as the showstopper... match made in artisanal heaven," Diet Sabya said on Instagram
