Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu, along with her sister Shagun Pannu, has purchased a premium apartment in Mumbai's Goregaon West for Rs 4.33 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards via the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) portal.
The property is located in Imperial Heights, a ready-to-move-in residential project known for its upscale offerings and strategic location. As per the documents, the apartment boasts a carpet area of 1,390 sq. ft. (approximately 129 sq. m.) and a built-up area of 1,669 sq. ft. (155.02 sq. m.). The deal also includes two dedicated car parking spaces.
The transaction was officially registered in May 2025. Taapsee and Shagun paid Rs 21.65 lakh in stamp duty and an additional Rs 30,000 in registration charges.
Imperial Heights has seen robust real estate activity in recent times. Between April 2024 and March 2025, a total of 47 transactions amounting to a gross value of Rs 168 crore were recorded in the project. The average registered transaction price currently stands at Rs 32,170 per sq. ft., making it one of the most sought-after luxury addresses in the area.
Goregaon West, nestled between Andheri and Malad, has evolved into a vibrant residential and commercial hub. With seamless connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and Mumbai’s suburban railway network, the locality continues to attract professionals, actors, and business owners alike.
In recent years, the area has witnessed a surge in high-end real estate demand, thanks to its proximity to IT parks, co-working spaces, retail centres, and entertainment hubs.
Taapsee, known for her performances in films like Thappad, Pink, and Dunki, now joins a growing list of Bollywood celebrities investing in Mumbai's ever-expanding suburban luxury market.
