Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), a famous Chinese university founded in 1940, is offering a wide range of scholarships to international students for the 2025 academic year. BIT invites students from all over the world, with no IELTS requirement.

Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) Type B offers complete medical insurance, free housing or a subsidy, a monthly stipend (CNY 2,500 for undergraduates, CNY 3,000 for master's, and CNY 3,500 for PhD students), and full tuition coverage.

BIT International Student Scholarship waives tuition costs for dual-degree and undergraduate programs.
The Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship awards master's and doctoral students CNY 20,000 and CNY 30,000, respectively.
Deadline for the application:
For Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC): April 15th, 2025 (Round 2) or February 15th, 2025 (Round 1).
For students who are self-funded: June 15, 2025.
For the 2025 spring semester: December 15, 2024.
For the 2025 Fall Semester: June 15th, 2025.

Undergraduate Programs: International Economics and Trade, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and more.
Master's programs include, among others, business administration (MBA), mechanical engineering, information and communication engineering, and aeronautics and astronautics science.
PhD Programs: Applied Economics, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Science, and others.
Eligibility criteria:
Undergraduate Programs: 18 to 25-year-old high school graduates who are fluent in Chinese or English (for native speakers or graduates of English-taught programs, the TOEFL/IELTS is unnecessary).
Graduate programs include master's degree holders under 40 for PhD programs and bachelor's degree holders under 35 for master's programs. It is necessary to have two professional recommendation letters.
No need to take the IELTS: Students from English-speaking nations or programs are excused from submitting TOEFL/IELTS results, and English ability can be proven in other ways.
