Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr L Murugan has expressed confidence that BJP-led NDA will form the government in Tamil Nadu in the next assembly elections.
In Tamil Nadu, the BJP vote percentage increased during the last Lok Sabha elections and it will rise further in the assembly election, said the Union minister while informally interacting with media persons here on Monday. When asked if the Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin fears that the state may lose around eight Lok Sabha seats if delimitation is carried out on population basis, the minister clarified that the delimitation would be carried out proportionally and there is nothing to fear.
Earlier, he held a review meeting with officials of the Press Information Bureau, Akashvani and Doordarshan and instructed them to enhance the production quality. He also gave suggestions to improve the qualities of the programmes.
Minister gifts ambulance to Divyangs
Union minister L Murugan- Rajya Sabha member from Madhya Pradesh - through his MP fund, gifted an ambulance to Divyangs during a programme. Speaking on the occasion, the minister reiterated that the Modi government is continuously working on public welfare programmes.
