Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a chilling incident in Chandan Nagar, a 16-year-old boy was brutally stabbed to death on Wednesday night after being lured into a false meeting for compromise.
The deceased, identified by the police as Ganesh Nayak, a resident of Maruti Nagar, had earlier in the day gotten into a verbal dispute with two boys from a nearby locality. In the night, one of them called him, offering to sort things out peacefully. Trusting them, Ganesh went along—only to be met with violence.
According to police, the accused, Abhishek alias Darbar Dhakda from Abhijeet Nagar, and his minor accomplice, first assaulted Ganesh before stabbing him with a sharp-edged knife. The attack was so savage that his intestines were gouged out. They then fled the scene, leaving Ganesh severely injured. His friends rushed him to MY Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries late at night.
The police have arrested Abhishek alias Darbar Dhakda of Abhijeet Nagar and detained his minor accomplice in the case.

Family members said that they had gone to Maheshwar for a condolence ceremony (terahvi). He was alone at home since morning. When they returned in the evening, Ganesh was sitting outside the house. A short while later, a friend called and informed them that Ganesh had been stabbed and was being taken to MY Hospital.
Intestines gouged out
The accused attacked Ganesh with a sharp-edged knife. He was stabbed twice in the abdomen with such force that his intestines were gouged out. Along with his studies, Ganesh also worked in a factory. He was a student of Class 8 and worked in a cold drink manufacturing unit. He was the youngest among four brothers.
