Thailand's foreign tourist arrivals from January 1 to October 26 fell 7.25% from the same period a year earlier, the Tourism Ministry said on Tuesday.
There were 26.25 million foreign visitors over the period, it said in a statement. Malaysia was the largest source market with 3.8 million visitors, followed by China with 3.72 million.
In October, the central bank cut its forecast for foreign tourist arrivals this year to 33 million from the previous 35 million. Thailand saw a record of nearly 40 million visitors in 2019, before the pandemic.
