Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit India, the Kremlin confirmed on Monday.
The two leaders spoke on the phone and discussed the strong relationship between their countries. Both Putin and Modi agreed that India-Russia ties are growing well and are not affected by pressure or influence from outside.

They also spoke about working closely together in the future and continuing to build on their “Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.”
