Missed graduating from DU? Here's your final chance to get that degree

Delhi University has announced a 'special chance', giving former students who, for various reasons, were unable to complete their undergraduate, postgraduate or professional degrees one final opportunity to do so.

The scheme is open to students who enrolled in UG programmes between 2012 and 2019, and those who joined PG programmes between 2012 and 2020 but could not graduate. Under this scheme, eligible students will be allowed to re-appear in a maximum of four papers.

Candidates can submit applications by Sept 15 and the online window will remain open till 11.59pm. The university will release a tentative date sheet along with details of examination centres.

A senior official said that students from regular colleges, non-collegiate centres, School of Open Learning and professional courses will be able to avail themselves of this opportunity. He also underlined that this was the final window and no similar chance would be offered again.

Students applying under the scheme are required to upload all necessary documents, including past results and pay a fee of ₹5,000 per paper. The applications will be processed only after they are verified by the respective faculty, department, college or centre. The university has also clarified that the fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
