Apple is preparing to unveil the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which might offer the longest battery life ever seen on an iPhone. Leaks suggest that the new model will be thicker to accommodate a larger battery, surpassing the 33-hour video playback offered by the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Alongside this, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to showcase several changes in design, materials, performance, and camera capabilities, making it an exciting upgrade for users who seek enhanced power and longevity.

Larger Battery and Improved Performance

According to reports, Apple is focusing on increasing the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s thickness to fit a significantly larger battery. This change could push the device’s video playback capabilities beyond the impressive 33 hours seen in the iPhone 16 Pro Max. With the iPhone 15 Pro Max already offering 29 hours of video playback, the next model is likely to provide even better battery life, addressing long-standing demands from users, especially those who require extended use throughout the day. This move marks Apple’s response to user requests for more power, while some might prefer the slimmer iPhone 17 Air, others may appreciate the Pro Max’s added bulk for its enhanced battery performance.

Design Changes and Enhanced Camera Features

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature a redesigned rear panel and a hybrid frame that combines aluminium at the top for strength and glass at the bottom for wireless charging support. This change is likely to improve the phone’s durability while retaining its modern charging features. Another noticeable upgrade could be the camera bump, with leaks hinting at a larger rectangular housing possibly made from aluminium.
