Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the next-generation Camry in December 2024 with prices starting from Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Camry features an all-new design, new interior layout, additional features, and added safety. It also has more fuel efficiency than the previous model, all thanks to the next-generation hybrid system. And now, the Camry has received its first price hike. TKM has silently increased the prices of the new Camry by up to Rs 65,000.
The new Camry has received a price revision, with an increment of Rs 50,000 over its previous ex-showroom price, bringing the updated price to Rs. 48.50 lakh. Furthermore, customers opting for the Platinum White Pearl exterior shade will be required to pay an additional Rs 15,000.
In terms of design, the updated Camry follows Toyota’s global design philosophy and represents a refined evolution of its predecessor. At the front, it features a redesigned headlamp assembly seamlessly integrated with a black trim element that spans the width of the fascia. A honeycomb-pattern grille, finished in body colour, extends into the lower bumper area, adding a sporty touch. While the overall profile remains consistent with the outgoing model, the roofline is now more gracefully sloped, and the enlarged, more sharply angled rear quarter glass contributes to a sleeker appearance. Rear updates are subtle, limited to revised tail lamps and a restyled bumper.
Inside the cabin, the Camry gets a refreshed layout, highlighted by a 7.0-inch digital instrument display and a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit. Features include a nine-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated front and rear seats, a 360-degree camera system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head-up display, and three-zone automatic climate control. The front seats offer 10-way power adjustment with heating and ventilation, while the rear seats provide reclining and ventilation functions, along with controls in the centre armrest and a retractable rear sunshade and an electric sunroof further enhances the cabin experience.
Under the hood, the Camry is equipped with a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired to Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, known as THS 5. This setup delivers a combined output of 230hp and is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 25 km/l. Power is transmitted through an e-CVT gearbox.
