IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What are the eligibility criteria?
Science Subject: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent examination with Maths, Physics, and English from a Board of Education recognized by Central, State, and Union Territories with a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate and 50 percent marks in English.
Three-year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Years Vocational course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Maths from a Board of Education recognized by the Central, State, and Union Territories.
Other than Science subjects: Must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any stream/subject from a Board of Education recognized by the Central, State, and Union Territories with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Years Vocational course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English from a Board of Education recognized by the Central, State, and Union Territories.
Age Limit: Candidates applying for this recruitment should be born between 2 July 2005 and 2 January 2009, i.e., the minimum age limit of the applicants should be 17.5 years, and the maximum age limit should be 21 years.

All the candidates applying for this recruitment will have to deposit a fee of Rs 550. The fee should be paid in online mode.
IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025 Selection Process: What is the selection process?
The selection process for this recruitment consists of three stages. The first stage will be an online exam, which will be of an objective type. The total duration of the exam for the Science subject will be 60 minutes and will include Physics, Maths, and English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus. At the same time, the total duration of the exam for other subjects will be 45 minutes, and questions will be asked from English, Reasoning and General Awareness as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
After the written exam, there will be a physical test, in which male candidates will have to run 1.6 km in 7 minutes and female candidates will have to run 1.6 km in 8 minutes. Apart from this, they will also have to do pushups, situps, and squats. Candidates who pass this physical test will then have to undergo a medical test and document verification.
IAF Agniveervayu Salary: How much salary will be given?
After selection, Agniveer Vayu will get a total salary of Rs 30 thousand in the first year, out of which Rs 21 thousand will be given in hand and the remaining Rs 9000 will be deposited in the Agniveer Fund, in which Rs 9000 will be added by the government and later given to Agniveer Vayu. After this, he will get a salary of Rs 33 thousand in the second year, Rs 36,500 in the third year, and Rs 40 thousand in the fourth year.
IAF Agniveervayu Facilities: What facilities will be available?
During the four-year service, Agniveer Vayu will get medical insurance of Rs 48 lakh. During this time, he will be able to avail himself of the benefits of Air Force hospitals and canteens like other Air Force personnel. Apart from this, he will be given 30 holidays in a year, and sick leave will also be given on the advice of the doctor.
