HPPSC Exam Postponed 2025: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has postponed the Himachal Pradesh Forest Service (ACF) Prelims Exam 2025. This exam will now be conducted on 5 October 2025. Earlier, this exam was proposed on 9 September, but it had to be postponed due to continuous bad weather and a disaster-like situation in the state.

HPPSC has said in its official notification that due to bad weather, the date of the examination has been extended, keeping in mind the safety of the candidates.

A decision was taken on the demand of students
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the state is currently facing a natural disaster, and in such a situation, it was becoming very difficult for the students to appear in the examination. He said that through social media and other means, the students had appealed to postpone the examination.

CM Sukhu wrote on Twitter, "Respecting your difficulties and sentiments, it has been decided to postpone the exam. Now this exam will be held on October 5. All of you continue to work hard and prepare."

Schools and colleges also closed.

Meanwhile, Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap has issued orders under the Disaster Management Act in view of heavy rains. Under this, instructions have been given to keep all government and private educational institutions like schools, colleges, polytechnics, ITIs, coaching centers, and Anganwadi centers closed.
