The government has issued a deadline for birth certificate
Birth certificate or Janma Praman Patra is a very important document. It is needed from admission in school to many other government and non-government works. If you do not have a birth certificate, then you may have to face a lot of difficulties. In such a situation, if you want to get it made or make some changes in it, then a deadline has been issued by the government regarding this. Earlier its deadline was 31 December 2024, but now you can do the work of getting a birth certificate made and making changes in it till 27 April 2026.
If you do not get the mistake in your birth certificate corrected by this date or do not get a new birth certificate made, then after this date you can neither make changes in it nor get a new birth certificate. If you have not got a birth certificate made by this deadline, then you can get a new one. Apart from this, if there is any mistake in your birth certificate such as name, date of birth, time of birth, then you can also get it changed. Both these works have to be done within this deadline.
How can you get a birth certificate?
If you have not got a birth certificate made yet, then you can get it made by visiting the official website of Government of India dc.crsorgi.gov.in/crs. You have to go to the website and register, then you can apply for the certificate here. Apart from this, if your age is more than 15 years, then you can also get it made by going to the Municipal Corporation office or the related office.
If you have to make any kind of change in your birth certificate, then you can also get this work done offline. Earlier, only birth certificates could be made after 15 years, but according to the new rules, now people above 15 years of age can also get a birth certificate.
