MP Police Recruitment 2025: After recruiting 7,500 constables for the police department, the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has now announced another major recruitment notification. This time, a total of 500 posts of Subedar (Ministerial), Stenographer, and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) will be filled under the Police Headquarters, Home Department.

The online application process will begin on October 3, 2025, and will continue until October 17, 2025, with application form amendments available until October 22, 2025. The recruitment exam will begin on December 10, 2025, and will be held in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Khandwa, Jabalpur, Neemuch, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, and Sidhi.

Educational Qualifications
1. Subedar (Ministerial) Stenographer
Passed Higher Secondary Examination (old system) or 10+2 examination.
Passed shorthand test of 100 words per minute from a recognized council/board/polytechnic/ITI.
Passing the Computer Proficiency Certification Test (CPCT), which includes Hindi typing, is required.
Any one of the following qualifications is mandatory:
Passing a diploma-level examination from DOEACC,
One-year "COPA" (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) course from an ITI,
Modern Office Management course from a recognized institute,
Computer Diploma from a UGC-recognized institute.
2. ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector - Ministerial)
12th pass from a recognized board.
Passing Hindi typing with a CPCT certificate is mandatory.
Also, any one of the following qualifications:
MCA/BCA/Computer Science/IT degree,
Polytechnic Diploma from an AICTE-recognized university,
DOEACC Diploma,
One-year "COPA" course from an ITI,
Modern Office Management course,
Computer Diploma from a UGC-recognized institute.
Physical Standards
Regarding physical standards, for both Subedar and ASI positions, male candidates must have a minimum height of 162 cm and female candidates a minimum height of 152 cm.

Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age is 33 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per the state government rules.

Pay Scale
As per the pay scale in this recruitment, candidates selected for the Subedar position will receive a salary ranging from ₹36,200 to ₹1,14,800, while the pay scale for the ASI (Assistant Sub Inspector) position is ₹19,500 to ₹62,000.

ASI: ₹19,500 - ₹62,000
Selection Process
The recruitment examination will be conducted in two stages:
Written Examination (100 marks) - This will include questions from general knowledge, intelligence tests, mathematics, and science.
Document Verification and Practical Examination (100 marks) - This will include typing and shorthand tests.
Notably, this time, for selection to the stenographer position, the final merit list will be prepared by combining the marks obtained in both the written examination and the shorthand typing test.
