For recruitment of driver in roadways, it is mandatory for the candidate to be 8th pass. Also, there should be experience of driving heavy vehicles. The minimum age of the candidate should be 23 and a half years. The height of the candidate applying should not be less than 5 feet 3 inches.

The candidates who apply will be shortlisted and called for a driving test. The candidates who pass this test will be subjected to document verification and will be posted.

The candidate selected for the post of driver will get an honorarium of Rs 16,593. On completing 22 days of duty and 5000 kilometers, he will also get an incentive of Rs 3000. Along with this, accident insurance of Rs 7.50 lakh will also be given.
